This is a student film about George Lucas's struggle to get a movie deal to make Star Wars. It is set in 1973. This film is being produced by students of the Cinematography Department at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. This student production is a dramatic representation of the events leading to the creation of Star Wars. Follow young filmmaker George Lucas as he meets with Hollywood executives and tries to land a movie deal. In addition, this film asks the question, can a filmmaker not only enjoy their own work, but experience it like everyone else?
