My collecting has only started in the past few years with automobilia, petroliana and soda products. Restoring Gas Pumps and old Pop Machines is a passion. Then, we hit a garage sale and found an old 1970's Star Wars figure which brought me right back to my childhood. Then, I went on a mission to find the X-Wing Fighter I had as a kid. After 50+ Star Wars figures and vehicles later, I have finally found it! I have since taken a turn and have been focusing on the action figures/vehicles as they are more reasonably priced than the pretoliana products I would like to collect. besides, my 12 year old daughter is having fun with me as we search garage sales and ebay for the best deals. We enjoy collecting these together as we can also play with them. She doesn't quite understand why we can't take most of them out of the packages, but one day she'll appreciate it as I will turning them all over to her. This also gives us a new hunt to find the loose figures that we have as packaged figures so she/we can play with them.
