Hi.I was always a big collector.  It probably all started with the Six Million Dollar man figures.  However, I didn't get obsessed until the summer of 1977.  Yep, I'm that old.  :)As some of you will probably remember, there was a new horizon on the big screen.  And that horizon was "in a galaxy far, far away." I escaped to this place every chance I got.  I remember opening my Death Star box, playing with the original Sears Catalog set that I got for Christmas.  And I remember wanting MORE.  Thus, I became such a Star Wars freak.  Now, the prequel not withstanding, the original middle three films were all that I focused on for the next 7 years.  However, then came a little comic book mini-series called the Transformers.  From then on, I think I supported Hasbro's lighting costs for the next 5 years.  I bought my first Transformer, Optimus Prime, from K&K Toys in Foothills Mall (Maryville, TN) after returning Star Wars merchandise I bought from KayBee Toys.  It was all over from then on.  Transformers became my new obsession.  My friends collected GI Joe.  So just as Hasbro did, I combined the two story arcs.  Now my Autobots could play side by side with the Joes and the Decepticons with the "Enemy" (aka Cobra).  Well as much as I loved the toys, I had to one day give up the collecting and start focusing on college, work, life.  Flashforward to February 2009 and although I had maintained my collection, never selling any toys, I hadn't had a desire to complete the collection.  Then I stumbled across a G1 Menasor.  And that started the fire all over again.  Within a year, I had completed the entire Transformers G1-USA line and started filling in the blanks of Star Wars, GI Joe, M.A.S.K., Mego 1970 Superheros, Marvel figures, etc.Today, I am loving my collection more and more.  Still collecting, but have also become somewhat of an expert at repairing broken bots.  I typically sell "extra" figures and parts.  So if there is something you need help finding, repairing, or just want to chit-chat about some of the collections, drop me a line.Have fun living and re-living your childhood...I know I am.
