As with most boys, I began my passion for action figures at an early age. My childhood consisted of a plethora of G.I. Joe, Masters of the Universe, and Transformer action figures and toys. Unfortunately, none of these remain in my possession as an adult.

As with most boys, I began my passion for action figures at an early age. My childhood consisted of a plethora of G.I. Joe, Masters of the Universe, and Transformer action figures and toys. Unfortunately, none of these remain in my possession as an adult.

I first discovered and fell in love with comic books in the sixth grade, when I joined an after school comic book club. This completely shifted my passion in toys, once I discovered the realm of super hero action figures. My interest in and enjoyment of comic books has remained in tact to this day, which is why the bulk of my action figure collection falls into this category.

In addition to my comic book-based collection of action figures, I do occasionally add action figures of characters from some of my favorite films, primarily in the horror and cult cinema genres. My love of the movies, as with my love of comic books and toys, began at an early age, right around junior high as well, with my initial interest being in horror films and expanding out from there.
