There's little doubt that Daisy Ridley is the new face of Star Wars. She was downright enchanting and enthralling from her first frame to the very last in The Force Awakens, and subsequently Rey figures are already coming a hot commodity in the hobby.
Daisy is going to have countless toys based on her likeness in the coming years, which must be a tough burden to bear when the folks at Hasbro are sculpting your face (I'm only joking, relax!). She's already adapting to this new phase in her life quite well according to a recent interview with Vulture. In that piece she "reviewed" a handful of different figures and toys on how well they captured her likeness. Here's what she had to say...
On the Star Wars: Elite Series Rey
"This one’s cool. It’s pretty lifelike!”
On the Pop! Vinyl Star Wars Rey
“Eyebrows on fleeeeeeek! I love the bobblehead. Love it!”
On her interactions with Lego Brass regarding the Lego Star Wars Rey Minigure
“I was like, ‘Ummmm… They hadn’t properly created it yet, so I’m very happy that the shoulder size went down."
On the Star Wars 6-Inch Black Series Rey
"She’s kinda like, ‘Yeah, wot?’”
I hope this Star Wars thing works out for Daisy, because I don't think she has a future as an action figure reviewer. Who am I kidding, we would hire her!
