My collecting started back in the late 70's.  Whether it be Hot Wheel cars or Star Wars figures, when I was a kid, my collection of whatever was huge and abused.   My toy collection grew in the 80's, adding G.I.Joe and Transformers to the mix.  I also started a huge comic collection.     In the late 80's, I gave all my toys away to my cousins ( yes, all my Joes and G1 Transformers gone, I cry over that every day ) and sold off my collection of comics ( yes I cry over this also, Mcfarlane Spiderman, X-Men from late 70's and early 80's ) to invest in sports cards.  I started to organize card shows once a month and when the bottom fell out of sports cards, I bailed.  Sold off my cards and for many years felt I had a hole in my heart.   Fast forward to 2007.  That hole in my heart really started to bug me.  Over the years the only thing that got me through were a few Montreal Canadiens memorabilia.  I loved having the Habs all over the house, but it just wasn't the same.  I longed for some real collecting.   One night I was sitting watching TV with the wife and spoke to her about starting up some comic collecting.  She had no problem with it as her brother was a huge collector and she grew up in that environment. Perfect!   For a few years I started amassing a nice book collection.  Then, as i was picking up my weekly haul of comics, out of the corner of my eye, I saw him!  A beautifully sculpted green behemoth.  I asked my buddy to pull him down from the rack.  There I was, holding what I thought would be a figure that would be way out of my price range.  He was heavy, nice packaging and just looked kick ass.  i asked what he was going for.  "20 Bucks" said my buddy.... Game over!   So now I find myself trimming my comic collection on eBay ( not all of them like I did in the 80's ) and buying figures like crazy.    That's my story.  I think that in the year and a half worth of buying, my collection isn't all that bad.  I will be adding photos as I go along, and I hope you enjoy what you see!UPDATEJuly 11 2013  My figures now reside in a pretty big closet now, save a few in a display case in the hallway.  I pulled them out to add pictures to my Dash collection, or at least the ones that weren't present.  Decided to freshen up all the pics!  You'll notice a few MOTU classics, instant love!  I had originally purchased them for re-sale, but just couldn't do it.  Also, no more loose Star Wars.... Making room for the Black six inch figs!!  Oh yeah, Got a few figs up on eBay now also, and have a few lined up for the Dash Marketplace.
