I have only been collecting action figures and die cast cars since about 2000. I haven't found any decent items to add to my collection at garage sales. I found a lot of Batman items made by Corgi at Walmart between 2004 and 2006. These are some of my favorite items.  My favorite Batman incarnation remains the one portrayed by Adam West with Burt Ward as Robin on TV and one movie from 1966-1968. While I was living in Tucson, Arizona in 1986 I went to a local movie theatre to see the 20th anniversary re-release of the Batman movie. To my surprise, one of the original Batmobile's was on display in the parking lot and I got to get up close and touch it. I talked with the owner, who was with the car, but I can't remember his name.  It was quite an incredible experience for me. I loved cartoons as a kid, especially super hero cartoons like the SuperFriends. I remember coming back to my home in the afternoons while in college to watch Masters of the Universe. I was 20 by then and still liked watching cartoons! I used to buy a lot of Batman comics in the 1970's but sadly gdidn't keep them.  I now have all of my favorite comic books---all reproductions put into color compilation books---all from their first few years of existence---Superman, Batman, Spider-man, Green Lantern, Hulk, Thor, Fantastic Four, The Flash. I do have some old original Wonder Woman and Supergirl comics too. I used to find some good buys at KB Toy stores, but unfortunately they have been out of business for several years now. Now I shop Walmart, ToysRUs, KMART, and e-Bay for my collection items. And my local Comic and action figure store. I have yet to go to my first Comic Book Convention, but look forward to it one day.

Not sure about the army stuff, but man, if I had the time, this is the stuff I'd get. Love the Batmobiles, Evel Knievel, and Steve Austin! Even sprinkled in some Lord of the Rings. This man has good taste!
