I started my comic books and toy collection after I graduated high school. So many years ago I care not to admit it. At first it was just buy what I found at yard sales and look in the attic of my child hood home to find my old toys. As I grew older and had more money I attended comic book and toy conventions. Sometimes buying and sometimes selling. Through out the years I have added to my collection by getting to know the local comic book and toy dealers and swapping, buying, and selling from them.  Also by the fact that I can walk into any antique shop and almost smell where the comic books and toys are hidden.             Most of my books and toys are from the 80’s and I have taken the time to log them, back them, and protect them. I have a few select that I follow into the modern times but find the artist of the past are more to my liking. I have to say that there are many that are my favorites but my wife says that if I could run off with She Hulk I probably would. I find myself more interested in the bad guys rather than the good guys. Don’t give me GI Joe for Christmas I would prefer Cobra. Although Conan still captures my attention now and then.              Anyone that comes into my house to visit gets a tour of my toy room and my comic book collection hiding in my computer room. My wife says that if I had a choice to sell her or my books and toys she would be the first to go.             One day I hope to open my own comic book and toy store but first I have to retire which is not to far away.
