A nice start, but quickly obsolete

As a big "Pacific Rim" fan, I bought most of Wave 1 when it was available. The Wave 1 Knifehead Kaiju is decently detailed with nice paint. However, it's not quite full size, and any of the Jaegers make it look small. The jaw opens, but its tongue is permanently hanging out, so closing the jaw bites it off. Also, the smaller "dogpaddle" arms aren't articulated at all. NECA knew what they were doing when they redesigned and upsized Leatherback in Wave 2 (with the "damaged" paint scheme and later "clean"); that figure is superior in every way. Now, I don't know what to do with this one, really. Use it in a forced-perspective scene or as an adolescent Kaiju maybe.
