Description

Wave Ten (Wal-Mart Exclusive) - Imperiex (September 2009).  The tenth assortment of DC Universe Classics strays a bit from the recent trend of releasing obscure characters. Instead, some fan-demanded releases are addressed, along with the inclusion of some lesser-known characters. Man-Bat is a hold-over from the DC Superheroes line, which saw albino and clear versions released as convention exclusives but not the classic, brown version of the character. The Joker is an updated sculpt to better match the style of DC Universe Classics.
<p>
A build-a-figure is an action figure who can be assembled by purchasing other action figures, each of whom comes with a piece of the BAF's body. The Collect and Connect figure for this wave is Imperiex.  Wave 10 included the following figures with respective build-a-figure pieces: Robotman (Upper/Middle Torso); Beast Boy (Right Arm); The Joker (Right Leg); Power Girl (Left Leg); Man-Bat (Left Arm); Forager (Head/Lower Torso); Batman (Figure Stand).
<p>
Imperiex is a fictional character that appears in comic books published by DC Comics. The character first appears in Superman #153, (February 2000), and was created by Jeph Loeb and Ian Churchill. He was the main villain for the "Our Worlds at War" crossover.
